About Woodland Works: Generations of Forestry & Silviculture Expertise
Founded in Buena Vista, GA, we grew up in the timber industry. Today, we bring decades of field experience to timber companies, consulting foresters, and private landowners who need reliable pine planting and site prep across the Southeast.
From One Dozer to Precision Forestry
Brad grew up in the industry, learning the foundations of reforestation and responsible stewardship alongside his father. In 1999, he purchased his first dozer and planter. Over the years, he expanded the operation to a seven-machine crew—but he quickly realized that bigger isn't always better. In silviculture, quality matters most.
Today, Woodland Works operates a dedicated four-machine crew. We found this to be the perfect balance. It allows us to cover large acreages efficiently while maintaining strict quality control over planting depth and spacing—the details our customers deserve.
Outside of planting season, we provide skidder-based chemical site preparation and mid-rotation release spraying. Our equipment is outfitted with GPS guidance and automatic rate-control systems, ensuring consistent herbicide applications and clean rows across every tract we touch.
